Now Hiring: RN Assessor (IDD | Pediatric | Geriatric Populations)

Locations:

• Colorado – Hybrid/Field-Based (Home Visits + Remote)

Territory - Denver, Fort Collins, and Grand Junction

Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented RN with a strong clinical background? We're looking for Registered Nurses to conduct in-person and virtual assessments for individuals on Colorado Medicaid—focusing on members with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), complex health needs, and pediatric or geriatric backgrounds.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for conducting face-to-face and virtual assessments using skilled care acuity tools, documenting needs, and recommending services based on clinical judgment. Assessments average 2–3 hours, with ~2 scheduled per day to start.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct structured assessments focused on personal care, caregiver needs, and skilled nursing requirements
• Utilize critical thinking to interpret member responses and tailor care recommendations
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including intake LPNs who coordinate scheduling
• Provide mentorship, participate in training, and support quality assurance initiatives

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Active Colorado or Compact State RN license
• Four-year nursing degree and at least three years of experience in nursing within the last ten years
• Experience with IDD populations required; pediatric and geriatric experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and comfort with virtual assessment tools
• Spanish bilingual candidates strongly preferred

Schedule:

• 9 AM – 5 PM MST (flexibility required to accommodate member needs)
